IDC’s Energy Transition division is an extension of its core business, with a focus on Hydrogen-related technologies (production, transport, distribution) as well as Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) technologies and chemical solvents. IDC Group has been supporting ADNOC’s goals since the early 1970’s; playing an important role in their decarbonization goals is an organic evolution of the group’s existing operations.
IDC Energy Transition also aims at boosting the group’s industrial local investments and contributing to the country’s Make It In The Emirates efforts by localizing the production and assembly of some of these Hydrogen and CCUS – related technologies.
IDC Serve
IDC Serve is the Engineering and Technical services division of IDC group, serving clients in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Refining, Utilities & Renewable energy sectors. This division was set up to focus on enhancing the reliability, availability, safety and integrity of clients’ existing assets and plants as well as to support clients in developing new plants, assets, and projects.
IDC Chem produces and supplies specialist oilfield chemicals and works hand-in-hand with clients to develop high-quality products that solve particular problems they need to address.
IDC’s Oil Tools division, which proudly manufactures local PDC drill bits in the UAE as part of IDC’s Make It In The Emirates efforts. IDC also provides the spectrum of quality drilling oil tools including RSS (Rotary Steerable Systems), Drilling Motors, MWD/LWD, Dissolvable Packers and Frac Plugs with further opportunities to localize the manufacturing of some of these tools in the future.
IDC AVELV is a system integrator division of IDC offering turnkey solutions of Audio-visual, Security, IT and all other ELV systems. This MCC-licenced division provides the full-spectrum of services including design, consultancy, project management, installation and maintenance, for clients in Oil & Gas, Public & Government sectors.
IDC Metal Industries
IDCMI manufactures Aluminum Composite Panels, branded as ALUCLAD, used in the Construction sector for exterior façade cladding and interior finishing. It also specializes in A2 core manufacturing, which is sold in the UAE market and exported regionally.
